Europe-Israel Pilgrimage Tour
When we go on a pilgrimage in the Holy Land, another dimension intervenes: the space dimension, since we discover the places’ materialistic foundation of the founding events whereby God expressed his word.
But the space is as – and maybe even more – fragile as the human word and memory gathered!
We can only understand these places if, at the same time, we do listen God’s word telling us about the events they remind, the anchor point.
God’s word reading is neither a historian’s tale, neither the memory of a riddle. This Word acts, and it is more than Jesus, God’s Word, Christ Messiah who is talking to us: he is himself here.
Thanks to him, we are Christian and we are part of him when we celebrate the Eucharist.
His presence is given to us at that moment, in one place where not only his time becomes our
but our time becomes his!
His story’s time is confirmed by his story’s places.
