Catholic Pilgrimages in Europe

Tourism of the World

not only offers you to relive the life and the passion of the Lord in the Holy Land by following the steps of Jesus,

but also to continue the words of the gospel through the most important sanctuaries of Europe.

The spiritual experience lived by every pilgrim in a sanctuary is

universal since the message always rests on the good news of the Gospel.

At the same time, this experience is also specific because the message received by the pilgrim is linked with a specific fact,

part of a specific timeline and within specific circumstances.

Our pilgrimage to holy places must let us verify, by bringing face-to-face today’s reality and the history’s reality,

that we are neither in front of a myth, neither in front of an untrustworthy imaginary, but really in front of human reality

transfigured by God’s lively and burning word, the Word made flesh.

On Earth where God gave and revealed himself, he somewhere giving himself to us again, through the mystery of his church, body of his son.

If the miracle, the facts, the traditions at the roots of this or that sanctuary are a not faith object, they are servicing faith.

In every sanctuary, the first pilgrims have received a message, a spiritual experience that, through the years,

has been transmitted to the faithful.

These places are witnesses of a prayer tradition, of a story.

We also find there testimonies of recognition

for the mercies received (ex-voto). Any new pilgrim enters the procession of the ones who were before him.

The spiritual experience lived by every pilgrim in a sanctuary is

universal since the message always rests on the good news of the Gospel.
